✅ You can’t have ups without downs, or highs without lows. They cannot exist separately because there would be nothing to compare them to. Imagine if life were only flat and predictable; it would be a dull affair with no curves.
✅ Accept that there will be downs, rather than fighting them or asking “why me?” It helps to keep perspective and makes it easier to accept. Sometimes the very lows can lead to insights and growth.
✅ Look for the positives. Although it can be difficult to see them in times of adversity, downs can give you the opportunity to develop resilience and inner strength.

✅ Take care of yourself. Be kind and not too hard on yourself. We all have our bad days, and it is important to be gentle with yourself and give yourself space to recover.
✅ Allow yourself to feel, but without judging. It is okay to be sad, angry or disappointed. Emotions are a normal part of life. Allow yourself to experience and live through them.
✅ Remember that everything passes in time. Times of adversity are often temporary, as are the highs. No matter how dark it seems, there is always a bright spot on the horizon!
